Episode 15 - Mario Gomez

This week we are joined by Mario Gomez, English teacher and Track Coach at John L. Chapin High School of El Paso, Texas. Born and raised in El Paso, Mario has spent the last 14 years at Chapin helping build a program that looks to be a perennial power in west Texas. We talk about life in a large town (800,000+ in the El Paso area), the west Texas weather, altitude training, and working with many military families whose kids attend his school. He also happens to be a contributor to www.freelapusa.com (find all his articles here) and we hope to not only keep in touch but also establish a healthy Michigan-Texas Track & Field connection!
